YOU GUYS KNOW WHAT TO DO.
-Please reblog if you have the time.
Recently got interviewed for You Are What You Wear if you have time you can check out how it went HERE
In light of this years United States elections, Baracka Flocka delivers you this message.
We made a quick trip to attend Platform Talks with Jeff Staple last Tuesday at Ronac Art Center. The day started of pretty weird, cause of the weather’s mood swings, but we made it just in time to give out daps and pounds to people we knew that were present as well.

The registration booth.

One of Egg Fiasco’s peices from his last Exhibit “Monkey Business.” From just the typical tagging and sticker making, he has come a long way to becoming one of Manila’s best artists. Check his stuff out whenever you have time.

Nix Damn P, doing a quick set before the talk starts. One thing i like about Nix Damn P is that he doesn’t just play the club bangers. He can play just straight up good music. Like this great Freddie Joachim playlist that was going on at the venue.

Bloggers. Locker room legends, Solemovement and the likes. If you don’t know, now you know, ninja.

Nimbus 9, B-roc, And Rjay Ty. You can’t say you’ve been a hip-hop head in Manila and not know these people. Also, incase you’re into blogs, B-roc runs this pretty great site that features everything happening in the Manila hiphop scene and just a whole lotta other stuff. From basketball, international artists, to Music equipment. Add this to your bookmarks

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaand we’re off. Jeff Staple, ladies and gentlemen. Let’s have a round of applause.

I see people came strapped with macbooks to keep tabs on good points throughout the talk.

After everything, it was time for the meet and greet, signing and photo ops. Yes, this was the place to be if you had one of those KID ROBOT x STAPLE pigeons. I’m just pretty bummed out that i didn’t think of that. I was pretty psyched to just hear what he had to say.

Photo ops

Whoever this guy is i was really feeling his BNE shirt. Tried snapping pics but to no avail.

So this was the highlight of today’s highlight [no typo.]. Since we didn’t come with Staple merch, we just asked to get our shirt signed. Made Jeff Staple kinda laugh, but he happily obliged when we explained that this shirt is our little start-up brand.

We then headed to Charlie’s for some grub with some friends. Jokes and food with friends are always something great to do.

Ira Cordero [Infinite MNL] rocking a really dope sleeve. If you’re ever in the Sucat [Paranaque] area, make sure you stop by the Sole Slam concept store to get your sneaker fix and pick some Infinite MNL shirts while you’re at it.

Say it with me, juicy-black-angus-beef. Rarely do you have a burger where the bun is just as good as the patty.

Went up to the deck to chop it up with Rjay Ty of Unschld and to check out the new drops at Secret Service, and Progress. Peep this set of Van Dorens and other Vans. Spells out Broke pretty well does it?

Mr Internationalle, Joshua Yap himself. Taking a break from his job in New Zealand. If you’re into graphic design you should definitely check out his website once he launches it. Pretty ill stuff. Also incase you haven’t heard, he singlehandedly did New Zealand and Australia’s official Nike Air yeezy 2 release poster.
And to end this blogpost, we leave you with this quote from Jay-Z that we picked up from the day.
We hustle out of a sense of, hopelessness
Sort of a desperation
Through that desperation, we ‘come addicted
Sorta like the fiends we accustomed to servin
But we feel we have nothin to lose
so we offer you, well, we offer our lives, right
What do you bring to the table?-Jay Z “Can I Live”
Peace, Manila.
